Are you using a version of DNN prior to 4.5 because that lack of confirmation was fixed in 4.5  although i'm not sure about the lack of payment  problem. Maybe its a bug in the RSVP feature but i don't use DNN for payments so can't confirm http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?p=0&id=3979

I'm using a fresh install of 4.5.3. I'm having the same problem when using the RSVP feature. The user is added to the specified role but is not sent to the paypal page for credit card processing. If I Unsubscribe I am taken to the paypal gateway site but there's no record of any transaction of course.

When removing the RSVP code and going to "Manage Services" directly I am able to subscribe fine.

It would be great to get the RSVP feature working correctly as this would make subscription services much easier to present to users VS explain how to go to managed services etc.

I can see how the flow would be simple for users: Upon registration I could redirect the user to a page with several links (RSVP links) where the user then chooses which subscription they prefer. How easy is that. Simple and done.

I've never logged a defect here. How do I go about that?

Regards,

Patrick
