Brand new to DNN module development and I noticed something in the documentation that confused me. It says "When creating the new project folder, create a folder off of the DotNetNuke Root\DesktopModules\ directory." However, there is no "DesktopModules" directory off the root.

Is this dated documentation or am I supposed to create that directory as well?

Is this DNN 3.x or 4.x?

In DNN 3.x you may not see the Folder in Visual Studio (but it is there - look in Windows Explorer).

I'm using 4.02 and the directory does not show in Windows Explorer or VS.NET.

I figured out what it was. I had not yet visited the site to initiate the install process which I believe creates the DesktopModules folder.

Thanks anyway.
