Sorry if this is not the forum to ask, but how would I go about moving my portal, set up on a shared hosting service using DNN 3.1.0 to another provider as I have been getting a "DotNetNuke Upgrade Error" for the last 4 days (along with a number of other users) and my current providers support team have no update and no time scale for a resolution.

Regards

Quick guide to move a dnn installation to another server:
- get a backup of your db and files
- restore backup on new server (db and files)
- adjust web.config with new information for connecting to the db
- edit the table PortalAlias on the db to adjust the url for the portal

In your case if you're moving your domain also last step would not be required is your old domain is also moved to the new server.
