My web host (discountasp.net) does not recommend installing DNN to the root directory so I installed in in a sub directory - \mywebsite\DotNetNuke. I can access the instance of DNN fine if I use www.mywebsite.com/DotNetNuke. I've also created a parent portal - Portal1 and have established a domain name pointer to the root using www.portal1.com. I can't access the site using the domain name or www.mywebsite.com/dotnetnuke/portal1. I'm guessing what I need to do is set up a default.aspx page in the root and use Response.Redirect but I don't know how to set this up. My current code looks something like this:

Dim HTTPHost"HTTP_HOST"))Select Case HTTPHostCase "www.mywebsite.com", "mywebsite.com"
Response.Redirect("

http://www.mywebsite.com/DotNetNuke/default.aspx")Case "www.portal1.com", "portal1.com"
Response.Redirect("

I've tried other variations, referenced my books and combed the forums but I just can't seem to get it to work.

Any help would surely be appreciated!
http://www.mywebsite.com/DotNetNuke/Portal1/default.aspx")End Select
HTTPHost = LCase(Request.ServerVariables(

Personally, I would almost move your DNN installation to the root.  From a SEO perspective and an overall management standpoint if you are hosting multiple portals it might be easier.
