Hi,

We have DNN V04.04.01. The "Lock" check box for users is greyed out, therefore I cannot lock a "naughty" user.

Any suggestions?

Thanx,

Brenden

I think you want to unauthorize them.  that prevents them from logging in.  someone else should confirm, but I believe lockout occurs when too many invalid password entries are made.

Thanks, Thanig.

This was my first thought also, however if the user has their authorization email they can re-authorize themselves.

For now my "hack" is to change their email address and change their password. But, then with their email address they can re-register and get in... and do more naughty things :)

Perhaps an improvement for the future.

Brenden

If you have direct access to the database you can set the "IsLockedOut" (I believe that is the column) value in the aspnet_membership table for that user to 1, and that will lock them out!
