Anybody know anything about using Iron Speed Designer with DNN?

Just wondering if it is possible or if there are any advantages.

Thanks

Greg

Greg:

I don't have a lot of experience with Iron Speed but have seen detailed demos and have talked to sales reps.  It seems to be a great tool to generate ASP.Net applications from scratch based on a database.  It also has its own internal framework for data access which would be similar to DNN but not exactly compatible.   I think it would be too difficult to use Iron Speed for DNN work.  In addition, Iron Speed is not free, if you buy it, you may as well learn to use it well with its own framework and not use DNN at all.

Iron Speed, being a commercial tool (and not cheap at that) is several steps ahead of DNN in the automation of form design and data access code.  Availability of third party modules and expandability is another matter.
