Hello,

We are using the repository to present articles and articles author. We are using two repostitoreis, one for the author and one for the articles. Each author may have more than one articles. Now I would like to be able to cross link both repository such that when I am reading about an author I could access the list of her articles on the site.

Is there a way to specify a query string to the page hosting the articles so that the repository module will filter the list of article by the author? If so, what is the synthax? If not is there any other ways to produce the desired effect?

Thank you,

I realized that you can pass the item ID in the query string and this will load the list with only that item displayed. Assuming that the repository is on tab tab 80 and you want to point to item id 10 you would do:

http://www.yoursite.com/Default.aspx?id=10&tabid=80

This works but it results in some problems. If you click on the comment link to view the comment the page reloads with the first page of the default view when accessing the repositor and the the first item of the list with the comment form extented.... Not quite expected...

I am also trying to build a template that will display to the user the link back to each items.

Further...

You can use the freindly URL:

http://www.yoursite.com/SandBox/tabid/60/mid/671/id/33/Default.aspx

In this example you specify the module ID (mid = 671) so that if the page has multiple modules the engines knows where to point to.

IN my site I have modified the template.html to include:

Link back: http://www.mysite.com/SandBox/tabid/60/mid/671/id/[ITEMID]/Default.aspx

Hope this helps.
