A question: 

 

I would expect that Page.IsCallback is true when an AJAX callback occurs, but it is actually false.  Why would this be?

What method are you using to perform you callback?  Is it the one integrated into ASP.NET 2.0, or something else like the ClientAPI or MS AJAX Extensions?

Hi Jon,

I am creating a usercontrol with the "supports partial rendering" attribute in DNN 4.5.3 ..  is this implemented as a postback or a callback?

The updatepanel which is used in supports partial rendering scenerios, does a postback behind the scenes.  I am not at a programming computer right now, but did a quick search, and believe you can use the scriptmanager to determine if you are in a callback.
