How do you stop the double spaced carrage return? I have come to understand that you need to do a SHIFT+ENTER to single space, but most of the public doesnt know this kind of thing.

Oh and one more thing, can you disable the insert/edit Image feature? a user can browse the contents of the server with this enabled. Seems like a security issue to me.

Hi Mark

  1. Look for file Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Fck/Custom/fckconfig.js
  2. Then search for FCKConfig.EnterMode
  3. Set it to div.

And there are a few ways to manage the image button.

  • In the same file as above, remove 'Image','Flash' from the FCKConfig.ToolbarSets["Default"]  section
  • Or, in your web.config, search for DefaultToolbarSet and set it to NoGallery
  • Or, if you have more complex role requirements, make your own toolbarsets
  • Or, edit a Text/HTML module on your site, click below it to set custom editor options and set portal-wide toolbar to NoGallery for the roles you dont' want to have the button.
  • And finally, use your File Manager so remove write and/or view permissions from any folders you don't want anyone to see. The Image browser will respect what you set and it doesn't yet allow deletion in any case.

Some of those options may require more information... especially #4, so ask again if you get stuck.
