Hi -

We are using Open-Document Library v. 1.05. Our 'Press Releases' folder system is setup by year ie 2007, 2006, 2005 etc . The subfoldering under each of these folders are then the month names. When the sub-foldering for the year folder rsolves, the folders are listed in alphabetical order ie April, August, December, February etc.. The client wants them to list according to month order ie January, February, March April etc. I wasn't able to find a solution in the documentation and we are nlt really ready to upgrade to the new 1.5 version, so the best I have been able to figure is renaming the sub-folders to 01-January, 02-February, 03-March, 04-April etc.

Is there some other way, to do this with out a bunch of extra programming? Like some admin parameter feature, I don't know about :-)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely -

EMV

This forum is for the DotNetNuke core documents module.  For questions on the "Open document library", you should contact the product developer.

I am having the same problem.  What do you mean by "contact the product developer"?  My module is from DotNetNuke, so does that make you the developer?

The origional poster was referencing a module called "Open-Documents" which is not the DotNetNuke Documents module that this forum is dedicated towards.

If you are looking to modify the sorting of the documents module you would need to perform changes to get it to sort in month order as by default is uses a standard A-Z sorting method.
