Chart visualizer is not showing on IE but is rendering on Firefox. I have no errors showing but the page takes forever to complete in IE 6. Please help has I do not have the option of using Firefox as this is on an Intranet.

Hello Andrew, I have a similar problem... The error message is (in both FF and IE)
"Invalid Query String, please do not browse to this page manually, use the Reports Module"

I "hacked" ChartImage.ashx a little bit to gather more infos, and it looks like a decryption problem
(UrlUtils.DecryptParameter returns an empty/null string...)

Hello Andrew,
I've investigated a little more, it seems that my chart visualization problems are somehow related to DotNetNuke.Security.Decrypt...

I'm still not 100% sure about that (debugging isn't easy in my production server) but I think stream.FlushFinalBlock raises an exception:

System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Bad Data. at System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException.ThrowCryptogaphicException(Int32 hr) at System.Security.Cryptography.Utils._DecryptData(SafeKeyHandle hKey, Byte[] data, Int32 ib, Int32 cb, Byte[]& outputBuffer, Int32 outputOffset, PaddingMode PaddingMode, Boolean fDone) at System.Security.Cryptography.CryptoAPITransform.TransformFinalBlock(Byte[] inputBuffer, Int32 inputOffset, Int32 inputCount) at System.Security.Cryptography.CryptoStream.FlushFinalBlock() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Reports.Visualizers.Chart.ChartImage.Decrypt(String strKey, String strData))

(I've copied the Decrypt method directly into ChartImage.ashx)

I get the same 'Invalid Query String' issue when rendering a chart, the graphics are not created and the event log shows:

I'll log this as a bug and follow-up on it. I won't be able to get a fix into v5, which is releasing soon, but since the Visualizers can be installed independantly, I may be able to get a fix out soon if I can identify the problem.
