Hello,

I am new to DNN and would appreciate any help anyone can give me.  I searched the forums and didn't see an answer - if there is please forward the link to me.

I would like to have my Homepage containers display completely different from the 2nd level page containers.
I am having problems setting up my homepage to display the widths of the containers as fixed vs - 2nd level containers as a percentage.

Could anyone please tell me if there is an easy way to do this?  I looked at the skin.css and saw how to globally set the container sizes.

Is there a place to specify each different container width?

Please let me know if I need to provide more information........I know that this may be vague and require more details.

Thank you very much!!

Is your thinking that you will be able to accomplish this with one skin - the same skin for the home page is the same skin for the 2nd page?  If so,  I think it will take someone much more knowledgable than myself to help you.  Being relatively new to dnn myself, I would make 2 separate skins - one for the home page and one for the 2nd level page.  I would then use those skins  to make width modifications to the containers based on your need.  You can assign under page settings one skin for the home page and another skin for your 2nd page.

Thank you Paul,

Sorry for the delayed response - i've been out of town until now.
I was afraid that was the answer, I'll try it - I wish it was easier than that!

I appreciate your response - I guess there aren't many people involved in this forum!  :)

Thanks again.

Joyce
