How do I remove the stuff behind the .com in your domain in the address bar? example;  website.com/dotnetnuke/info/tabid/55/default/aspx    The stuff highlighted in red is what I'm referring to.

you can use the rawurl property of the httprequest class http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.httprequest.rawurl.aspx as it will not contain either the protocol or the domain.

Will this effect my ability to edit or do anything to my website? And what links do I navigate through to get there?

ah sorry, i get what you want now. You only want to see the domain, and not the rest of the url - thought you were programmatically trying to extract the relative path (this is common enough as people often want to redirect to that).

No, you cannot simply strip that part of the url, as it contains the information on where you're going and what you're trying to do.

As you may be able to see, I'm new at the web thing. My webmaster has told me in the past that he would have to do something like save the "Notepad" of the website to a file, then redirect it to the domain. Do you have any idea how this is done? Also, Does this have any effect on the search engines or the ability to be found on the search engines?

 Thanks, Jeff...
