Intalling this on Windows XP as a test invironment.

When I go to Run, CMD, http://localhost/default.aspx and I hit enter which in the past started compiling DNN, instead I get this error below...can you please tell me why I am getting this

You have to install to a virtual directory configured as an application in IIS. How are you installing directly to the localhost server? I have to set up a directory say "dotnetnuke" in IIS and browse to it using: http://localhost/dotnetnuke. The default.aspx file can be added to the end but is not required because it is set up as the default load page.
