Does anyone know if it is possible for a user to delete their blog entry?

You have a link edit entry in the upper right corner of the single view control (if you are the owner of the blog or an administrator), click this link and then you will have three links on the bottom of the edit page.

Update, Cancel and Delete

Hope you can help. I'm not using a default skin and don't get the edit entry link you mention, though I am both Admin and blog owner. Is there something I should add to the skin template to make the edit link appear? Thanks.

Make sure the single entry module is configured to grant "Registered Users" the "Edit Module" permission...at least that's what fixed it for me!
