I am having a peculiar problem, and not sure what is going on.

I have several VIsta machines experiencing the same problems.  When they browse to a DNN site on the internet, the site takes forever to download (30+ minutes), and does not come all the way down.  Sites include:

http://dealers.kibbi.com (member only site)
http://www.philipsproducts.com (public site)
http://www.dotnetnuke.com (yes, really!)

Does anyone else have this problem?  Am I just completely nuts?  It is IE 7.0 (the build that comes with VIsta - newer than XP builds).

I would appreciate anything on this.  Thanks

I used to have that kind of problem all the time with IE 7.0 in XP and not on just DNN sites. It may have something to do with trying to limit cookies. Anyway, I solved the problem by installing and using Firefox instead of IE. I don't know if that would solve your problem or not, but it might be worth a try.

Thank you for this information, unfortunately installing a different browser is not really an option, since I have it on several public sites.

All other sites work fine on these computers, Google, Yahoo, Dell, among countless others.  The only commonality of sites that I can see is DNN.

I asked them to look into how the cookies are being handled, and I have not heard anything back at this point.

I am still open to more ideas.

I just tried the sites you listed on IE7 on Vista Home Premium and all loaded in under 4 seconds.

I would check your privacy/cookie/security settings.

I dont think that installing Firefox will solve your problem.  Well it will solve yours but not 90% of web users

Cheers
