So that's what the story is!  I've been wondering why DNN sites never seem to remember me while most of my other favorites always do.  I must say it is pretty annoying!

I'd like to tweak dotnetnuke.com  ;)   Never ever ever clicked log-out ...  but an hour later I will be  :)

Brian, I don't know what the dotnetnuke.com cookie duration value is, but it's definitely more than 60 minutes. My cookie was still active after exiting the site yesterday afternoon. The key is to avoid logging out if you want it to remember you.

I've been giving this some thought. The real "problem" is a usability issue. The user is unlikely to know that logging out destroys the cookie. Perhaps selecting the "Logout" link should send the user to a page which has appropriate messaging on the further option to log out while still having the site remember the user, or log out and not be remembered. Maybe this could be configurable by the admin. Just thinking out loud....

A few, specifically me, are talking about dotnetnuke.com .            I am the user.     You are right, I am still logged in today..  so this value has changed recently as you can see others have experienced it too.

1.  Thankfully it is changed..  hopefully it is more than 24 hours...

2.  The default should be changed to more than 60 minutes....

I wonder if others, like me, have been careful to click the "log out" link before exiting, not realizing that they were destroying the cookie and hence the ability to have the portal remember them?

Yep. I had the same problem for over 2 years... This helps!

Maybee dnn can make a page with settings on setup/install wizard.

Thanks all.
