Hi there,

I'm a total newbie to DNN but I've been looking through it and it seems incredibly powerful.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't MSN Live Spaces (http://spaces.live.com) run on basically a similar, if not identical framework?
If so, thank God someone's come up with a public version cause I needed something akin to this, to bundle with a software package I sell to small retailers here in the UK, so they can design their own sites in a WYSIWYG-type interface without technical knowledge, and from what I've read so far, DNN appears to do just that and more - custom modules, ability to "skin" interface and provide a full CMS - which I will be editing to fit my database framework once I've read the dox on how to do it!

Similiar, but no where near identical to MSN spaces...

Also, the skinning / designing is no small feat so be careful what you offer them. IMHO, One should be fairly comfortable with HTML, CSS, and XML to effectively skin a DNN site, it's not for the weak-of-geek that's for sure :)
