We love the fact that DNN is upgradeable just by copying the new version over the old and merging the web.config files.  However, we do all of our deployments directly from Subversion, which has reduced our deployments to a simple, scheduled task that runs "svn up".  We would like to accomplish the same with our DNN install as we are going to be developing many in-house modules and would like to update our production environment to the newest version of DNN and the newest version of our modules (or new modules) without needing to go through the "install" process of DNN.  We'd like to script what happens in an install ourselves using CruiseControl so that the upgrades are fully automated (think continuous integration).

Is this possible?

Part of the reason for this is that there won't be just one DNN install.  There could be hundreds on multiple Web servers that we want to upgrade in one fell swoop automatically on a schedule.

Michael
