Hi, I am new in dotnetnuke and I am trying to build the pages something different:-

1-First Page - Without default site navigation. I will put the main menus using link module.

2-Second Page and others - With default site navigation.

do you know how to do it?

What I suggest you do is remove the menu from a skin you want to use but in the first instance, keep a menu on there - so you can create the pages/site and then apply the skin once you're done.

  • You can also use the breadcrumb skinobject/token to display pages
  • You can also use the links skinobject/token to display pages
  • Or you can apply a third part menu in a module format like - HouseMenu - http://www.houseofnuke.com or the Inventua Side Menu - http://www.inventua.com and they are menu providers.  And you set them to be viewable for administrators only, so you can see full navagiation especially to the admin tabs when you're logged in.

There are a few options, but the very first thing to do is create a skin without a menu, and make sure you don't apply that until the end otherwise it gets a bit tricky to get to the admin pages to actually upload and apply skins.

Hope this gets you on your way!
