Hi

We are developing a DNN based website for a client in Australia that needs the nearly the exact same functionality (unregistered users can search a registered members service directory to view member names & services offered based on either their job description ("role") and/or their post(zip) code using a 2 part search input .

We're also looking at including the ability for registered users to view the current availability of listed registered service providers for contracts + search for available contractors by available dates.

Please see the following site - http://www.trustytradesman.com.au.
for a similar template of the type of site we're looking to build.

We need to know whether (and which) modules can be used (and in conjunction with what other modules - PA or DNN core?) to create the same kind of functionality used in the above website without further customisation or not?

If no core Project modules, can you suggest who could do this as a custom job?

+ IF NO cored modules  would fulfill the needs - what PA modules could do this for us?

I.E. What PA and/or DNN modules would be best to use with your search to create such a searchable members/services contact directory.

Ideally with the ability for registered users to contact listed members by email through the website.

Hope you can help.

Kind regards
Mike

there is currently no membership directory module available from a DotNetNuke project, though there is a new project going to create it. I am not aware, which 3rd party modules will fit your needs best, you might need to check out www.snowcovered.com for membership modules.

Regarding a service directory, either Repository or UserDefinedTable might be used to create such a solution.

You need to check out www.Ventrian.com they have the best directory listing module! It is called property agent and can be used for membership directories, houses, anything. Good luck!
