 Late last night I was working on my site and think I made a fatal mistake I was logged in a Host I was in the profile option and I made the profile required for login -

When I logged off then logged back in I get the screen that says "Please update your profile before continuing". No fields show the only thing that shows is the "update" icon I press it it does nothing

So in other words It looks like I have completely locked myself out. Is there any way to get back in?

Its DNN 4.5.2 version

if you have direct access to the database, you can directly modify the database, AFAIR the settings are stored in module settings, lookup moduleID of "Manage Users" module in module table first.

more importantly..   its a known bug, you can see it in 4.5.4 roadmap ...

Thjanks everyone - I got it fixeed - My hositng company actually did it for me they went in a edited the database, Ihostasp.com is the hosting company and they have been great for a newbie like me with DNN - Just for the sake of others this is what I did

Thanks - for the reply here are the things I did - the DNN installation is 4.5.3

I log in as host - 

I go to the "admin" menu I click "user accounts" and then click "Manage user profiles"

I then make several fiels "required" (FirstName, Lastname, Address, et)

I go back to the "admin" menu click "user accounts" then click "user settings" i place a check mark in "require a valid profile for login" and place a check mark in the "require a valid profile for registration"

Then I log out and log in - It says please "Please update your profile before continuing" and the update icon is at the bottom of the page - however no fields are visiable. 

So I can't update the profile thus I have locked myself out.

So What I believe I did wrong is I must have unchecked the "visiable" box on all the fields when I was flying through it the other night -
