I new to DNN and need some advice...

I'm running DNN 3.2 and trying to install Forum 3.20 and I'm receiving the following error message:

startjob reading dnn file
failure the element 'folder' has invalid child element 'foldername'. expected 'des_crip_tion'. an error occurred at , (7, 3).
failure the 'foldername' element is not declared. an error occurred at , (7, 3).
failure the 'modulename' element is not declared. an error occurred at , (8, 3).
failure exceptionsystem.exception: dnn load failed, aborting at dotnetnuke.modules.admin.resourceinstaller.padnnadapter_v2.readdnn() at dotnetnuke.modules.admin.resourceinstaller.painstaller.install()

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Use the Install.zip and not the Source.zip.

The only way these errors happen is if the dnn file is not in there.  I would recommend opening your zip to make sure its in there.

I looked at the contents of the ZIP file - there is a .dnn file named forum.dnn. Is this what you were referring to?
