Hi Friends,

My name is Vimal. I am basically a web designer. I am new to dotnetnuke. I was experimenting with my dotnetnuke skin, I replaced the "top panel - left panel - content panel" table with my own html code. After uploading the file, I am not able to do access any pages or even access the file manager. Please help!!!

I am not able to login to the website also, nor take the forum page or event page. All page shows the same page I have uploaded. Is there anyway I could get into my account and restore my skin ???

This is the error that is showing below the html page
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Cannot locate ContentPane for Skin

Please help!!!

In the ASCX file that was created when you uploaded your skin you need to add a ContentPane

try

<div id="ContentPane" runat="server"></div>

That should at least get you some of your content back. You'll also need to add the Menu, Login, and other "Tokens" back to your skin as well.

Download the Documentation ZIP file from the downloads page, read the Skinning documentation, it's a great place to start.

For an quick fix, go to your portals/0/skins folder and delete the new skin you created so DNN will default back to the standar skin
