hello,

im a newbie to DNN.

my questions are

1.  why does the dnn has two mechanism of users? (asp.net membership and dnn tables with similar names) ?

2. what is the part of each mecanism?

3. can i replace the dnn mecanism with my users mecanism?if not what is the best way to convert  my current login mecanism (with database) to work with DNN ?

there are Whitepapers available at the documentation page. DNN users table contains DNN specific data, ASPNET membership tables are used for login control.
