I am relatively new to .net and I'm adding a security/membership system to an existing intranet site. I'll need to authenticate and
authorize an existing set of users that have a network login, and I'll need to do the same for users that do not have a networklogin
but will be given access to the intranet site. The client does not wish to add any additional roles/groups to Active directory so I
cannot perform Authorization through AD. Additionally, the "network users" will need to be able to login using their windows UID and
password.

The web.config file allows for multiple membership providers. If I set up an AD provider for the network users and my own SQL data
store for the non network users will I be able to switch providers programatically on the fly depending on what type of user is
logging in? And, if so the tricky part is that I cannot authorize the win users through AD roles. So, the best solution I've come up
with is to duplicate all of the win users in my SQL data store so that I can Authorize them once I've determined that they have a
valid network login. WOuld love to get some feedback on this approach or better yet some suggestions for a more streamlined solution.

Thanks!
