I am having trouble getting this to install... I am trying to install the 4.5.3 install packet to my D Drive (this is the data drive) and I have followed all the same steps I did on the old server, except I have moved the data files and DB to the D Drive.... The error I keep getting is a Cofiguration Error,

It states there is an error on line 6 of the web.conf file.  Something to do with the Premission command in that line.  There is a not to ignore that error, and a warning that it will cause a Syntax error, but it is needed for Meduim Trust.

Can someone help me figure this out.  Thanks

Enviro = Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0, SQL express 2005, and .net framework 3.0 (was getting same error with 2.0)

Settings is D:\dotnetnuke and the DB is in D:\dnndb\erdotnetnuke
I have changed the connection string to the Server (Name), DB=erdotnetnuke, uid=(username), pwd=(password)

(name), etc... = the actual values.

It helps for you to insert the actual error message like you did in your other post.

You are getting this error message typically due to the the website virtual directory running under ASP.NET 1.1 instead of 2.0.  Ensure that on the ASP.NET tab of the IIS settings for this virtual directory that you have it set to use version 2.0.50727
