Hello Everyone....

So I began creating a DNN site on godaddy, got pretty far with the design and some content, but then I had to change the domain it was hosted on.  The site is still on godaddy under the same account, but it is now coheartclinic.com/home instead of eatbyseason.com/dotnetnuke.  I backed up all the files and my database is still intact.  I created a new install of dotnetnuke at coheartclinic.com/home to setup the directories and permissions, then deleted those files and uploaded my backup.  My web.config file is pointing at the right database.  The first problem I had was that the new site kept forwarding to where the old one was...I think I updated the httpalias field in the portalalias table correctly to reflect the new hostname.  Now when I goto the address, it goes through an automated update to 4.5.3, but then I get the following errors.

DotNetNuke Error: - Version 04.05.01

An unhandled error has occurred.

The address is giving this excepting http://www.coheartclinic.com/home/Default.aspx?tabid=37&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0

Anyone have any ideas that might help me figure out how to get this bad boy working again?  Thank you!

Nik

I couldn't say otherwise, but it should, I did not change hosts, so maybe my title is a little misleading, I just changed the domain name and directory under the same host which is godaddy....

I guess you have it fixed - your site comes up nicely. You might want to post your solution so others have something to go on.
