Hello All,

I newly installed the latest DNN package (4.5.3) to my shared web host.  The installation went of without a hitch, but when I try to access my page, an error message saying "Directory Listing Denied".  Another thing I noticed is that when i attempt to access it at "webname.com/" it redirects to "webname.com/install/" and gives the error.

This is driving me insane!!

Thanks in advance!

Did you verify your IIS web site / virtual directory settings:

  • have you added default.aspx as default document
  • did you enable ASP.Net  V2.0 ?

I have not explicitly checked this but I am realitively shure that those option are set.

As I am with a shared hosting provider, I do not have direct access to the IIS manager, but I can indirectly control some features.

What I am seeing is that ASP.NET is inabled, and the Directory Index is set to Default.aspx

I will post any updates, and any further help is appreciated!!
