Hi,

Does anyone know why the user registration and the administrator mail on user registration comes up without any details. It just has Username and the email address. No Verification code is sent to the users who register for verification. Is there any settings I need to do ?

I did come accross a blog posting on this site http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1448/Default.aspx but i see all the settings are as per the posting but it still doesn't send a verification code and any other details.

This is an issue in DotNetNuke 4.5.2/4..5.3, that shall be solved in version 4.5.4, which is expected to be released soon.

Using the workaround in my blog should solve the issue temporarily.

Nice to see the Admin Email Notification information is back. I still cannot get the Custom Properties to get populated in the email though [Customer:Company]

I have added the Company: [Customer:Company] to the email template in Languages but no go for me.

Anybody know if this is possible now, and if so how to do it?

TIA

Steve

How can this same process be applied to sending a message out to all user accounts under a specific role. For example someone registers, and then an email is sent out to all users with the "registered user" role with the same message that's generated and emailed to the admin. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?
