Hi,

For some time now I'm playing with passwords policies in DNN. I managed to configure policies that I want in DNN ver. 4.4.1 but now I want to apply same policies to another site that is running on DNN 4.0.2. Alas for some reasons I can not upgrade it no newer version. My questions are:

  1. In 4.4.1 version it is very easy to set password expiration time. How it could be achieved in v4.0.2? Even if I run scheduled job that will check LastPasswordChangeDate I still have to force user to change its password somehow.

  1. I want newly created users to change their password at first login.

So in fact answers to both questions comes to one: how can I force user to change its password? In v4.4.1 in Users table there is bit field called UpdatePassword that was answer to my question in that version of DNN. However in v4.0.2 this field is missing. Could I still force users to change password in that ver?

Appreciate any help.
