Ok, I'm getting a bit frustrated.  I installed a portal using the source in one directory using SQL 2005 no problem.  Then just to prove to myself that the installation could be done again, I installed the same way another portal to another directory, no problem.  I moved the server to a new location, and deleted the portal that I didn't want.  Went to try to install a second portal, and I can't do it.  I've tried all kinds of things with the same result, I get the runtime error.  There doesn't seem to be any difference between the portal that is running, versus the one I'm trying to install.  Checked permissions up the ying yang, I can login to the new database with the username and login, I just don't know what's up.  I'm getting an ASP event in the event viewer saying that it can't load the DotNetNuke.Common.Global  I tried changing the sln file to make sure it wasn't referencing the localhost/dotnetnuke_2, but that still didn't work.  Last portal, all I did was edit the web.config to match the database, and it went just perfect.  I did the same thing when I installed the second one (that I deleted later), and still had no problems.  I thought I had it licked, but apparently, I'm still missing something somewhere.  Any ideas would be nice.

Thx

make sure, dotnetnuke website (website folder of source installation) is the folder, your IIS web site is pointing to.
