The Seven R’s of Change Management

Seven simple questions can help you assess change-related risk and gauge the effectiveness of your change-management process.

Know if the user clicks on the link  The Seven R’s of Change Management  it opens a page in my site and when i close this page along

with it my whole site gets closed (This happens when the user does not have the knowledge of html and does not use target="_blank"

for links while adding an entry), still user is a user and the site gets closed on closing that page .please let me know how i can resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance

Sirisha,

I am not sure what the question is. Could you please explain in more detail what is happening and what is your desired functionality?

Thank you.

Sirisha,

I believe I understand what you are laying forth, but that is not an issue caused by the blog module. You nailed the issue on the head when you stated the user does not have knowledge of HTML and/or does not use the target="_blank" tag with links. This is not something that we can compensate for as that would require us to make a HUGE assumption on the end behavior that the user wants. Many users may want to have it redirect to a page within their site so by opening all links in separate windows / tabs, it would not work as they would want.

I believe your ultimate solution should be to educate the user as to how this happens and what they need to do to correct it. A little education goes a long way.
