I am getting absolutely nowhere with DNN 4.02 installed on my shared hosting ( I won't say the name of the company). I had it installed a few times but they were having configuration problems (still are) which wiped out whatever I had working. Since then, the techs there have even installed it for me only to have it blow up again the very next day with lots of different error messages. I have been hosting with this company for about 5 years and they have been great but they seem to be having major problems with DNN 4.02.
Is anyone else having these kind of problems with their web hosts or is it bugs in the application itself? Before I allow a client to use DNN 4.02, I need to find a webhost where I can run it in a somewhat trouble-free, stable manner. Recommendations for a web host who can handle this version (if there are any) and provide, good, reliable service would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nope.  I haven't had any problem with DNN4 over at PowerDNN.com .  They're great and they really make sure they know DNN inside and out.
