Hi - I am trying to adapt an existing website to run within DNN - have made some reasonable progress but being floored by a tiny problem that I think is related to enableviewstate. I have a simple drop down list that supplies a parameter to a stored procedure - it is set to autopostback - however when the dropdownlist index changes the postback runs but the new value of the list is not preserved. If I run this outside DNN it works fine. I suspect somewhere my EnableViewState is being set to False - I have searched for such a setting but nothing obvious. Also, strangely (I think) the postback works fine (ie retains the current list setting) when I am logged in to DNN as Admin and in edit mode - but if I switch to view mode the problem returns - any suggestions much appreciated

In the Module definition, you must set the Default Cache Time to 0 (and click the Update Cache Properties button to set it).

Dear All,

I attempted the tutorial on the DNNTextSuggest web control. It works fine in the View mode but whilst in Edit mode I am receiving the '404-Control not found error'.

I have had other problems in the view mode such as:

1. a grid view not being visible

2. Dropdown not retaining the selection

Please what is happening!?

I have set the default cache to 0 but still the same problem.

Sorry I meant to say that I was getting the '404 -Control not found error' in the View mode using the DNNTextSuggest web control.

Everything works fine in the Edit mode.

The default cache is set to 0 on the module.
