Hi,

I am still a little new to DotNetNuke and could use some help with moving files across portals.  I initially setup some pages on my root Nuke installation.  However, now I have learned how to make parent portals and set one up.  I want to move some of my pages from the root installation to my new parent portal.  Is there was to move these pages so I don't have to recreate them in the parent portal?  Thank you in advance for your help.

Adrian

That isn't possible inside the UI for DNN.

You might be able to make it work by modifying data directly in the database, but that might require a lot of work. You'd have to start by changing PortalIDs for the Tabs and TabModules, possibly a few other places as well, along with changing the RoleIDs for those who have access to the pages.

You might try exporting the content of your modules and importing it to the other portal, assuming that the modules you used support IPortable.
