The next release (within the next couple weeks), will have the following key features:

Thumbnail mode (should make for a quick and easy image-gallery).
Host level settings (a bit more control for the host to determine what features can be used via the module)
External file linking (allow the creation of URL's for linking files externally)

Details on external file linking are still being worked out.  This update, when released, will be free to all current users of the module.

How is the thumbnail bit coming along? That's the killer feature I was after and asked you about previously. Does it look like it's going to work quite well.. any caveats?

Regards,
Rob

The current version already has some prep-code for this feature, as it was a major part of the planning that went into the redesign.
With the module already using ajax, many of the features that delayed my adding the thumbnail feature in the past - are much easier to impliment today.
Thumbnails will be created and stored in an area pre-determined by the Host user.
Full-size image view will be in a popup window or optionally inside the current grid.
It will add a few steps for the admin side (for initial setup), however the end user should still find a self-explainatory UI....
Software that requires a manual for the end-user is generally not-ideal

A new version was released today.

This is NOT the thumbnail update, but some slight bug-fixes that had to be pushed up the priority ladder.

Please contact me at admin@adverageous.com if you have any difficulties getting the update.   Thumbnail update will hopefully hit testing on the demo site sometime this coming weekend.

Hi Scott, great to see the update.. I got it off Snowcovered and I don't see it in the patches section. The downloads section lists a file names the same as the one I originally downloaded, but it has "-1" ahead of it. Is that the new version?

Regards
Rob
