if an upgrade does not success, restore your backup. the current upgrade issue is severe, as user accounts have not been migrated successfully.

I assume, that the issue is caused by an incompatible collation of the server - while the database has SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS (where CI means case insensitive), the server might have a different collation for the temp table, that is used for the maigration.

Is there a way to validate my database schema? I don't have any user accounts to migrate in any case I only have the host and admin users so I wold like to keep the installation if possible. My big issue is my editor. The editor does not work I can't do much with the software. Is there a way to reinstall the editor?

I comparer an Install version of the 4.5.3 software and a upgrade version. There are some additional files in the install version in the C:\DonNetNuke453_Install\Install\Module directory that are missing in my installation. Are they important?

I am not aware of the existence of a db schema validation, sorry. I would not continue with an upgrade, that shows up update errors as yours, but I am unable to identify the soource of your issue w/o direct access to your database.

Hi I had exaclty the same problem with my upgrade: text/HTML editor was broken or "toast" ;)

to fix the html editor alone grab the 4.4.0 insatllation zip and in it you'll find the html module .zip upgrade file.

In that zip is an updated version of the html ascx file - simply copy that up over teh top of the one in the desktop modules/html folder.

hope this helps
