Why is it taking so long to test and OK the module .... I am following the progress every day and ..... and there have been no progress for over a week now?

just because theres no entries in the tracker doesn't mean theres no activity. In this case I believe the project lead is enjoying a rare vacation, before clarifying the issue raised during testing (last entry in the list). In general though, theres no fixed time period for entries in the release tracker. It depends on the amount of changes from the last release, the complexity of these and the number of new functions. In addition the modules going through testing stages that rely on particular individuals/groups to perform certain testing such as localisation or security so the availability of the right people and their amount of free time are factors that are hard to calculate. We try to get modules through testing as quick as possible but to retain a high quality release policy this can take time.
