Hey folks,

I'm after an enquiry form that can be sent either a string or parameter from a link elsewhere in the site to auto-populate a field (or drop-down/listbox etc.).

Typical use: user browses to Product X and clicks "Enquire for more information".  "Product X" is auto-emblazoned into the enquiry and the form then asks for more information, including required fields (such as email, phone, address, political orientation etc.).  :-)

Some more "nice-to-haves" would include:

  • ability to include drop-down lists, radio buttons, checkboxes, etc.,
  • emails the filled form to a set address,
  • validation (ie. required fields etc.),
  • popup calendar function,
  • auto-increment my bank account by $X,
  • etc.

If such a beast exists, I would be very happy to hear about it!

Any suggestions gratefully received.  You will enjoy a fresh cold brew with yours truly next time you visit Sydney!

Cheers,

Dave E (Sydney, Aust)

Dave,

I am not sure if there are any modules out there at the current time that allow for "dynamic subject" population like you request, however, i do not think it would be hard to modify an existing module, even possibly the "feedback" module to meet your needs.
