Hi everybody,

I'am trying to work with DNN and Google Gears to enable offline features in my DNN portal.
I'am just having a small problem. I'am trying to "simulate" a form submission with the XmlHttprequest object.

I'll explain myself, i would like to allow users to write datas in some form (we could take the example of the feedback module)
So users (offline users) will fill the input boxes of a form, click onsubmit (i'll intercept the submit and store the datas somewhere)
When the connection comes back and the user is back online, i would like to send the datas previously saved.
So i would like to send an XmlHttpRequest to the form (of feedback module for example) with this datas to simulate a "user submission".

How could i do that? With all the Javascript embedded in dnn fom submission (or asp) im a bit lost :)

Thank you

Clément

Depending on the module I am not sure if  you can simply do a standard HTML Form post to the page.

It alsmost sounds like what you are looking for would be a good use of Web Services.  Michael Washington has a module called Iweb that helps with building web services (http://iweb.adefwebserver.com)
