I want to be able to use Google adsense search in my site.  DNN 4.5.3 supports this (sort of) but there are problems.

1. If I do a WEB search, then the search button works, but returns results in a new window.  Would prefer these on my Search Results page.

2. If I do a SITE search, no results are returned.

Has anyone gotten Site Search working in 4.5.3?  HOW?

I've ended up going with the Venexus search module if you have the ability to use SQL FullText indexing it works great. We've implemented it on a few larger projects and it performs far better than the standard DNN search.

My site is a public site, so I would prefer Google - IMHO it will be a superior search, plus I get AdSense revenue.

Anyone using Google Search?  How were you able to replace the standard DNN search with a Google search?

This is how I did it:

I'm still deciding on using the domain option since my ActiveForums search does a good job internally.

Thanks for the suggestion John.  For some reason the IFRAME breaks my skin.aspx.  I can't seem to find any reason for this.  Is that what you did?  (Integrate the IFRAME into your skin?)

Oh well.  Hopefully at some point a decent integrated Google Search will make its way into the base product.
