 Hi

I am getting this error in the New blog module.

An error has occurred.
Error: New Blog is currently unavailable.

I tried for the solution given for Editentry  i.e replacing "e" in line 21 but still the problem

persists.Observed that this error is occuring for only those users who delete thier parent blog and try to create

it again.I will explain in brief when this error is coming

1).While creating New parent Blog after filling all the fields and  clicking Add for adding a new child, if the user does not fill any fields in the child blog creation and clicks cancel it redirects to the parent blog creation page where all the fields get refreshed now i fill all the fields again and click update then the above error comes.

2).When i repeat above step in other scenario i.e create new parent Blog after filling all the fields , I click Add for adding a new child and i dont fill any fields in the child blog creation and click cancel it redirects to the parent blog creation page where all the fields get refreshed now I dont fill any details in the refreshed fields of the parent blog and just click update then everything works fine .

can someone please tell me what is the reason for this exception and where can i fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Is there a log entry made with more detail?  Also, what is the page it seems to be throwing the exception on?

I use the blog module often ( by far not a DNN expert ), so will do my best to take a look and see if I find anything.

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

I've never seen this error before, seems like there is a duplicate entry in one of the tables.  Do you have access to your database?

Maybe Tony could point you in the right direction as far as where/what the extra data might be.
