Hi guys, I really hope someone can help me here.

I have been running DNN 4.4.1 for the past few months fine and installing new modules to it without a problem. Over the weekend I bought a new module and tried to install it.

The report at the end of the install says it installed fine and the module appears in the list of installed modules but no files were created and no changes were made to the sql server. After various hacks trying to install the module manually I have restored everything back to how it was and thought I would try and download a different module to do the same thing in case it was a problem with the module but unfortunately I have experienced the same problem.

The log viewer does not show any errors either.

Can anybody offer any advice on this as I was supposed to launch a new website this weekend and this is the last bit I need to complete the project.

Many Thanks

Lee

WHen you installed the module package were there any errors?  Did you see the standard messages about creating files and such?  It is possible that that modules install package was invalid as well...

I checked the modules validation and it passed. I received all messages about the install being successful such as creating files and running the sql on the database.

There were no erroris, not even in the log viewer.

No files were created on the server and no scripts were run on the db.

Thanks for your help.
