Nicolo,

I downloaded your zip and followed the directions. I'm using VS2008, but I've been able to get a development environment up.using your source zip.

I've been trying to figure out how to debug the code but can't seem to get it to run in the debugger. If I try to run the solution I can get it to run without debugging, but with debugging it complains that debugging isn't configured correctly. If I run the site from the browser and attach to the worker process I never get it to break.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to debug this source code?

Also, when I use the Create Module Package package option it doesn't create a package that can be successfully uploaded to another DNN site (complains about resource.zip missing and a number of other errors on upload).

Sorry for the stupid questions, but after reviewing much of the documentation I'm just not grokking what needs to be done here.

Hi,

I am trying to get Nicolo's version of the events module up and running, but I getting the error msg:

The project file '[...] DotnetNuke.Events.vbproj' cannot be opened. The prject type is not supported by this installation

I have dnn 4.7 installed and sp 1 for vs 2005

Anybody that has any ideas?

Hi Nicolo,

Thank you for this, it helped a lot!  One weird thing though, the links that are being generated on the calendar are looking like this:

http://localhost/.../Default.aspx?tabid=109&ModuleID&522&ItemID&1&mctl&EventDetails&selecteddate=3/18/2008

instead of this:

http://localhost/.../Default.aspx?tabid=109&ModuleID=522&ItemID=1&mctl=EventDetails&selecteddate=3/18/2008

anyone ever seen this before?
