Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum. How do I change my port that dotnetnuke listens on? Right now it is port 85 I need it to be port 80.

Thank you,

John Dunn

This would be the wrong forum, but for now there is nowhere for DNN specific issues on these forums just yet.

This is something your router would have to be configured for or IIS itself, this is not a DotNetNuke issue.  Considering that I cannot think of problems running DNN with SSL, which uses a different port than 80, I cannot see DNN having any side effects if you change this.

The server is on the intranet ( same network as pc I am trying from). When I change the port from 85 to 80 .netNuke will not launch the default.aspx file. Is there a place that stores the port number other than IIS? Sorry I am a .net newbie.
