I have spent to much time, trying to setup DotNetNuke. All kind of errors, relating to ASP.Net and SQL server has occured. I've tried to follow all instructions I've found, the installation manual, different threads int this forum,,, nothing have helped me.

My intresst in DotNetNuke is to use the functionality it offers, not to develop plugins.

My configuration is WindowsXP, IIS5.1, SQL Server Express, on a Dell Laptop. Connected to a company domain. I've tried to run this local on my machine, altough I my user is a Domain user.

The question I have is,,,,,, my intrest in DotNetNuke and my configuration must be very common,,, so,,,, is there a installation program,,, somewhere for me to run,,,,, that configures all components,,,, and makes it possible for me to use DotNetNuke.

There is an install module in the works.  Look down toward the bottom of the forums.

I notice this is your first post.  I'm glad you have looked for your answers but go ahead and post the errors your seeing and maybe someone here will be able to give you the jump start you need.  I'm not busy doing much so I've been trying to contribute as much help as I can lately.  My boss will probably figure it out sooner or later though so better ask before I get busy.  ;)

Cheers,

Paul Davis
