Hi Guys,

I have developed a site in Dotnetnuke 4.3.7.i have used different module on the site, some are built in and sorme are my own developed.i have two pane skin. My problem is that when i go to the Edit control of any module that is in the content pane, the modules which are placed in the right pane are not shown.I want them it should be shown any mode,which Editing or viewing.Please help me out in sloving this problem.Waiting your response....

This isn't possible using the standard DNN functionality, the EDIT control loads one and only one control.

You have a few options

put the modules that are on the right pane as SkinObjects in your skin, which will make them harder to edit.

code your module to load user controls based on querystring parameters.

We ended up taking the later approach with our Engage Publish module, we actually have somewhere in the range of 20 users controls that load, but they get loaded in various ways by querystring parameters, we leave "edit" mode for the administration side of things when loading other modules on the page isn't important.

Thank for your reply. I got your point there is no logic to load the other modules in edit mode but One more think which i have identified is that my content pane module have more than three control, Some are detail control.When my user go to the detail control. Right pane module are still not visible and the detail control type is "view".What you say about this.Waiting your valuable suggestion.Thank once again for replying.
