I'm exporting the RSS feed of the repository (that I'm using as news module).
But I'm running into 3 problems:
1 - it takes forever to update the contents.. but probably due to cachin issues
2 - it display "modulename - title" and if I remove the module name old news still have the "modulename" before the "-"... and now I get a " - title" as title
3 - The link inside the RSS is the url of the page (not specific to an item of the repository)... this direct link is in the guid tag... in the form of ".../tabid/112/Default.aspx?ItemId=3"... but this url is still redirected to the first item inserted

So... anyone knowing of workaround for these problems?

Hi,

The "Modulename - " can be removed from your RSS Feed with the following line in you XSL Stylesheet ...

<xsl:value-of select="substring-after(title,'File Library - ')" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>

Just replace the File Library with whatever your Modulename is.

Yes, that could be an option... but I've to give the user to the world, not use it myself...
