I had the same problem as the 2nd post in this thread.  I commented out "\<add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Authentication"/>" from the web.config file.  But now everything returns an "Error: <something> is currently unavailable."

Now I remember me something.
The installed version of dnn was: 04.04.00
I want to upgrade to 04.05.04.

I have upgraded a few modules.
There were no module that I've installed with a version higher then 04.04.00
Except...
And here we go...
I've installed the text/html version 04.05.00.
This module require a dnn verson of 04.05.00.
I've got some errors when I've installed this version. Look at this thread.
I reinstalled a older version and then the text/html module works again.
But... I've seen that in the module section the old version got the new number.

Could that be the reason of the failures?
Could someone tells me which version, and how I can installed the Text/html module from 04.04.04?
And be sure that everything is OK in the database?

The second part of my problem was shear stupidity because I didn't have all the files loaded on the website which I guess could have something to do with the original problem.

Like I've said
I've restored my old site... (two portals).
And I want to check everything out on my localhost.
With the copy of the live site I've setup a localhost site.

This localhost site is loading. I can see portal 1 and portal 2
In both portals in the home page there is a text/html module. And I can see the content of this pages.

Portal one have
home page: text/html module... Loading OK...
subtab: page with feedback module... Loading OK...
a page with a feedback module... Loading OK...
a page with the forum module ... Loading NOT OK...
a page with a user defined table module... Loading NOT OK...
When I click at the tab of these two last pages I've got the following error.

A critical error has occurred.
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

Portal two
home page
subtab: page with feedback module... Loading OK...

I can not say why I've got these errors. I don't have these errors on my live site...
Is there something that I've got to set in the webconfig for these two modules?

Is there anybody who have a suggestion for this?
